Interlibrary Loan

Can't find what you're looking for? Our interlibrary loan service (ILL) can request materials from other library systems. To place a request, present your valid library card to our Reference staff or call the Reference department at 828-757-1270.

You may place up to 3 ILL requests at a time. While placing a request is free, we ask that patrons pay postage fees for returning items to the owning library.

Though our staff works hard to fill your requests, please note that few libraries will loan genealogical materials, books published in the previous six months, very rare volumes or audiovisual items.
