The Mission of the Caldwell County Public Library is to be a highly respected center of knowledge -- employing a broad base of materials and technologies to encourage the love of reading and joy of learning, enhance the spirit of community, celebrate a diversity of people and thoughts, and strenghthen individual and community economic advancement.

The Vision for the Caldwell County Public Library: Caldwell County is an economically thriving region of knowledgeable citizens who embrace technology and change, welcome a diversity of ideas, and take a progressive approach to ensuring a prosperous future while respecting their history and traditions.

Adopted by the Caldwell County Public Library Board of Trustees June 2007.
